    Default Greatest in History!

Just Curious...In your opinion, What's the greatest comeback ever in NFL History...
I would have to say the Buffalo Bills vs. Houston Oilers on Jan.3rs, 1993... A 32 point comeback VICTORY!!!!

Disclaimer: I grew up an Oilers fan, saw their early games in Jeppesen (now Roberts) Stadium, then Rice Stadium, then the Astrodome, went to their final game and tailgated in less than tailgate-perfect conditions. So part of me hates that game because I was a fan of the losing team.

But I'll allow you the 'biggest comeback in NFL history' in terms of points, but argue after my final breath that it can't be considered 'greatest' anything just because Jack 'School of Clock Management' Pardee was a coach on the field. You may know him as Jack 'Deer in the Headlights' Pardee.

I'll give nods to a couple of more recent playoff games, the 49ers over the Giants and Steelers over the Browns, both coming in the 2002 playoffs I believe. I think San Fran's win over New York is tied for second-most post behind the Bills' rally vs. the Oilers. Steelers wasn't a ton of points, but they did it with that Maddox kid Cue-Beeing so that's got to be worth a few style points.

That Tampa Bay/Colts Monday night football game comes to mind a few years back.

Speaking of Monday night football games, a recent one comes to mind. The Bears against the Cardinals in Arizona.

But I would have to say that Bills come back on the Oilers is one of the best, if not the best.

Heres another monday night game I thought of that would qualify. The Dolphins vs Jets. The game when the Jets were down 31-3 at halftime and came back to win when Jumbo Elliot caught the winning TD.

I'd go w/ this since I had 3k on Bears ML.

Saw the Houston-Buffalo game and never thought I'd see a greater comeback, but I have to go with the Colts comeback versus Tampa that BB Dan mentioned. Down 35-14 in the 4th, and very late in the 4th at that (Less than 4 minutes if I recall).....

I know this isn't the greatest comeback, but being biased - 4th & 26 for Philly a couple years against the Packers. Greatest thing ever ... unless you live in Green Bay.

My apologies, I came in here thinking it was a thread about Barry Bonds.
