Default Book Volume Will be Down For Football

Just too hard to get money down there or should I say not as easy as last football season.

Big Bettors will go back to locals as large amounts to transfer to a book from States is very hard and takes way too long.

If things stay like they are some books will be up and have gained market share due to fewer choices.

Thats funny, I haven't had any problems at all. I don't mind waiting 2 weeks for a check and in most cases I haven't had to. It depends where you play. Certain books take care of business right now and some don't. No need to look for a new account for NFL, don't need any bonus, just paid when I win. Toss in a decent NFL $ contest $ and I'm a happy man. That silly little law that corrupt little man passed is like an electrified fence without the juice on.

    GOOD POST!!!

The only money that will go down will be major players in the middle/scalp market and the very very few big players that do ok... The average bettor will be there as usual....

Not if the funding and withdrawing methods aren't there Bill.

There will always be some form of method. They took Neteller away and people still find ways to get their money to the book.

Most of the average Joe's won't bother to jump though the hoops to get it to the books nowadays IMO. The remaining books that still accept U.S. players better find some type of online payment method that is problem free before football season starts.

I think any new method will get stopped in short time.

I think the main books will be okay because they were well prepared and they should send out emails to their clients to deposit early so they don't get overloaded at the last minute in August. I sure think that the bad ones will have a very hard time of it but the ones that are well prepared will be ready for the up coming season. I sure wouldn't go with any book at this time that doesn't have a good track record like sportsbook.com or betus because they are having plenty of problems currently, I just would rather go with the ones that have been in business a very long time and knows how to handle the problems at this time.

The smaller type player will be fine but the large post up players might be gone.

    99%+ have 1 or 2 books.
95%+ have always kept under $1000 offshore...

The funding presents absolutely no problem for 95%+ of bettors.

It is just as easy to send a ** once or twice/season as it is to use neteller.

The people who are hurting are the professionals and most of them have already set up other locations...

Since January I havnt had any problems at all funding my books. I miss the EFTs from neteller but have no problem taking a check to the bank.

    Buisness as usually for me.

It will certainly be down. The question is how much? I would guess total amount of money bet will be down around 35-40%.

I agree but the type of action they are losing is the type of action they want to lose so overall things will be better for them...

Its a big decline yes. But considering online wagering was growing at a 35% per year growth rate this just returns the industry to 05'-06' levels. A gut-shot punch for sure but not even close to life threating.

What percentage of this was beating them..? If you know their books to that detail then this should be cake... I say the books will be better off this year then in the past... Higher net gains...

Im not sure. The sharp guys that can actually handicapp are sure not going anywhere. But the guys who learned the craft of grabbing a bonus at 2 books and betting the opposite side to work through the rollover or certainly on the endangered list. The books wont miss that segment but also the books lose a bunch of average Joe's so maybe it comes close to balancing out.

    SBRJohn,

I agree with you statement, I certianly think there is books like thegreek and betjamaica that isn't going to have much problems though, I think they have been very smart on handling their business towards their customers. I think it has hurt the ones that are having problems currently trying to get funds to their customers, they haven't fared too well. I would advise everyone to stay away from them books that are having problems until they get it straight and find out a way to get funds to their customers quicker. I just think the Sprio group had it all figured out what to do and they have done very well. You better stick with the ones that you can make a withdrawal quickly and has a very good track record with their customers also. I know that thegreek and betjamaica have been one of the only ones that haven't been a problem for their customers, I do advise everyone to have an account with them. I believe they are going to benefit from this at the start of the season, I think they are going to draw an awful lot more people, so if you plan to bet with them I would get your money in there about a week ahead of time so you don't have any problems, I certainly think they are going to be very busy if you do it at the last minute.
