    Default Wimbledon AAAARRRRGGGGG

I guess I know never to bet on Wimbledon again. This is ridiculous. I put some money on Novak for Sat morning and the match is still not remotely close to done. London might be the worst city on the face of the planet.

Thats the problem w/ tennis matches...unlike most sports they could call the game a decide the winner...but not with Tennis.

i got money on nadal. delayed for two days now. so tomorrow morning they'll play for 2-5 games....i think this might be the most interupted game ever.

thanks. for some reason i think nadal is cursed. have you notice rain comes only after nadal win a game or two. usually after the game resume, nadal always lose the first game or two. right now it is 4-4. i think in the final set there is no tie break, so as long as nadal win when he serves, then he'll win it tomorrow.

what piss me off is that nadal game was originally scheduled for 11am est today, why they start the game so late? devychinco finished his set today. nadal pretty much started playing after devychinco won the 3rd round.

one thing that worries me is that nadal seems to play better when he is all warmed up. he usually need 2-3 games to warm up. soderling seems to get tired much quicker than nadal. i have to say, all these rain delays certainly helped soderling a lot. otherwise, this would be done in 3 sets.

nadal is serving first tomorrow. if he lose that game, then this is pretty much over for him. on 5dimes, i think they'll post up lines for tomorrow's nadal game...well a very short game. i expect the line to be -200 to -300 nadal. wouldn't be too supirsed if the line is close to even money.

according to records, every single wimbledon tournamnet there is at least one day of rain delay. you would think that would make those brit doofus to put a roof or move the tournament to a drier month, but no, this is tradition. that is why the russian player, devychinco made fun of the wimbledon tournamnet...they're all bunch of ultra conservative doofuses.

We brits like our traditions. This last couple of weeks has seen an unbelievable amount of rain resulting in a lot of flooding.A roof is currently under construction on centre court which will be ready for 2009.Safin and davydenko were moaning about the lack of things to do around wimbledon, the lack of cafes etc and how much everything costs. As far as i`m concerned they can piss off and not come back.

No. 2 seed Rafael Nadal needed five sets -- played out over five days -- to beat Robin Soderling and advance to the fourth round at Wimbledon.

The 2006 Wimbledon finalist beat the 28th-seeded Soderling 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (7), 4-6, 7-5, and will now face No. 14 Mikhail Youzhny in the fourth round.

This third-round match originally was scheduled to take place on Saturday, but Nadal and Soderling could only warm up before rain washed out play. There was no play on Sunday and on Monday, rain again intervened with Nadal leading Soderling 2-0 in the fifth set.

On Tuesday, their match was interrupted by rain four more times. After a total of six delays over four days, their match was 4-all in the fifth set when play was called for the day, forcing them to conclude their match Wednesday.

Congrats everyone that had Nadal. I had Djokovic and was pretty happy they finally got that one in. What a shame this tournament has become such a mess b/c I do love to watch it.
