Tennis is somewhat like MLB
small favorites usually have 50/50 chance of winning. small favorite meaning -170 or less (for MLB, i think small favorite is -150 or less). i got burned betting those small favorites, so i switched and picked couple of small underdogs, and my tennis bankroll is in the green ever since.
but i bet a boatload on nadal...he is heavy favorite, so should be a sure bet.
