Default Best cell phone carrier for sports score alerts?

I'm calling AT&T (formerly Cingular), Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc, looking for who can provide the most efficient, up-to-date sports score alerts.

Verizon has the ESPN V-Cast but that's mainly for videos which I could give two shits about.

I want scores, baby, up-to-the minute updates on the scores of every football and basketball game.

I used ESPN Insider from 2003 to 2005 and recieved their wireless alerts, but by October 2006 they were completely unreliable about getting the scores to my phone in a timely fashion. Sometimes it took hours to get a score.

Which cell phone carrier is the best for getting up-to-the minute score alerts???

I do NOT want to log on to the internet from my phone!!! I want scores sent directly to the phone via some kind of alert!!!

    Thanks for the help, fellas!!!

Those are good but too bulky, I would use them just for sitting on the couch or something when you do not want to view a pc.

I thought cbs sportsline had score alerts

    TY Breaker, TY JJ.

The sports pager is a little too costly. I'd rather put that money into a new phone or PDA. Some kind of alert service where I can pick and choose the sports I want is definitely more up my alley..
