    Default question for santo

As a spurs fan do you think that the signing of bent represents value compared to henry, obviously there is the age difference but for the same money i`d have henry any day you know that he will score goals. Also who will leaving berbatov or defoe.?

I think we should keep all 4, but there's a possibility Defoe will leave if he doesn't sign a new contract. Mido is gone, and Jol is on record as saying he wants 4 strikers because of the increased amount of games.

As for the price, it may be a bit on the high end but he's a proven Premiership, and I think we had to pay a premium for that, plus the transfer market is inflated this summer because of the extra tv money etc.

The other thing from an economic perspective is that Henry is old, and his value will decrease every year from now on. Bent is young, and his value will increase or stay the same. Thus if we sold Bent in 4-5 years time, we could expect to recoup much of that fee, where as if Barca sold Henry in 4 years time, they're likely to get zero or close to it as he'll be nearing retirement.

35 days til the first game at the Lane

Not at a high level, played locally until I went to University. I was better at Cricket.

JD sure seems unselfish. He could play for any team in England, but for some reason seems content as a Spurs reserve.

Not possible to keep 4 strikers happy at spurs,no offence, even the likes of united and chelsea struggle to keep everyone happy and they win something virtually every year.

They don't have to be happy, they just have to be content. JD is on record as saying he wants to stay, Keane and Berbatov aren't going anywhere this summer, so pretty sure we'll have 4 strikers at the start of the season.

If anyone was to leave it would be Defoe. Other than Mido, who will be moving as soon as we find somewhere next to a Kebab shop.

So how`s he going to play it,bent up top with keane and berbatov just behind with license to roam.

Keane behind the front two, or possibly on the left wing would be my guess if we don't succeed in getting an out and out left winger.

    Robinson

    Bale Dawson King/Kaboul Chimbonda

    Petrov/Keane/Other Huddlestone Jenas Lennon

    Bent Berbatov

    Something like that..
