I had a bet, nothing huge, just a smallish 2-bet parlay, where one side won and the other pushed. But 5Dimes graded both sides as having pushed. I was going to wait a few days to see if it got fixed on its own, and it did.

It's not good to see any grading mistakes at all ever, and I am guessing that this one got fixed because someone else called in and told them about it. I have had other grading problems with 5Dimes before, and that is really not a good sign. But at least it's good that on this one they fixed it without my ever having to call in.

Was just scratching my head about the quality of this place, and the meaningless crap that has my ignore button working overtime, but thankfully I was reminded of Ganch, who even at such times, can post a meaningful insight about something bad that is actually good, even though it's bad.

Thats one thing you always have to watch out for though during your stay at 5Dimes. They always seem to make grading mistakes in some type of fashion it seems like, and it's not just a recent thing either.

Good to see but there should be very little grading issues with todays books given the tech out there.

Yeah, I didn't mean to present the info as necessarily good or bad. I mean obviously it's good that they fixed it, it's bad that it happened in the first place. Especially considering 5Dimes' reputation for considering themselves "God" and infallible. God doesn't catch His mistakes, he never makes them in the first place. So these grading errors I guess, if nothing else, prove definitively that no one at 5Dimes is in fact God. I can't yet prove that God exists, but I can prove that He is not in charge of 5Dimes.

I know it's not a recent thing at all BBD, and of course, a book shouldn't get "credit" for making a grading error and then fixing it. Still, I felt it should be noted.

I am afraid there is rather something wrong with the quoted text. Where is the source that God does not make mistakes? They made a grading error on one of my wagers last week and corrected it in less than 30 minutes. So I'm not complaining - I got my money from them in around 48 hour too. So far they're in my good graces.

yes i played with 5 dimes some last football season and they always seem fair.My prefered choice is BETCRIS, which is now bookmaker.com.Does anyone know if they will have in-progress play like betcris.
