Default Day after the Super Bowl always feels like New Year's Day to me.

Sort of the start to a new gambling year as it were.

NCAA's coming up soon, then bases.

I usually make my New Gambling Season resolutions today too, in the afternoon. They I break them that night. But, regardless....

I like the start of a new gambling season.

Depressing for me. I like baskets but the good conference tourneys and even semi important NBA games are a month away. Only so much you can read about on the draft and college commitments. I start feeling a bit better once the pitchers and catchers report.

Total horseshit until March Madness..........then we will see some decent line movements........which will carry into opening day of the MLB season.

I guess what happens for me is that I don't like the two weeks leading up to the Superbowl, like I feel football is over already, but not really over?

Sort of like a relationship that is over, but "you just keep on hanging on". That's how I feel while waiting for the superbowl.

Then add in spring training starting up, and the NCAA hoops are my favorite three betting weeks of the season, not because I make a ton or anything, I just enjoy the games and the college kids going all out.

If you guys lived in Canada you would have a better idea of the importance of spring too lol.
