He was a very good quarterback on some very very shitty saints teams

Great arm and good mobility..Not quite a Bobby Douglas( We all know he QB and rushed for nearly 1,000 yards for Bears )

Archie could have been as successful as his kids if he ever had a team around him

The only way Archie could have lost is if he said he was pulling for the Saints. Even Saints fans would have turned on him for that. Family is family. If Archie Manning showed up in a Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans, the city and the fans would still cheer him.

This is coming from a guy that in 1980, living in North Dakota, would wear a Archie Manning jersey every Friday at school, and getting teased mercilessly for it. I had one teacher that used to call me "Archie". The Saints went 1-15 that year.

Archie Manning will always be loved by Saints fans.
