I guess one difference is Manning was playing in the Superbowl last last night while Brady was playing Madden football. Both are great players and both have won it all. Brady was great when the defense was great seems to me.

Manning doesnt cry nearly as much as Brady does... That's the only reason why Brady got as far as he did... He is a cry baby...

Hard to say, you also need breaks to win the big game. All these tops QB's are close so hard to pick other than judging by superbowl wins.

yeah you need some breaks to win big games....but two of bradys superbowl wins he was absolutely brilliant

if tyree doesnt make a miracle...if asante samuel hangs on to an int....if the defense could have made just one more play...brady has 4...and this conversation doesnt even exist...thats life....

Heck Manning has only won 1 superbowl- the same as Dilfer and so many other stiffs. He is good for the regular season so squares can cash some tickets in.People shouldnt even compare him to any great postseason quarterbacks. He has a 9-9 playoff record- not exactly the stuff of Legends. The colts dont know how to play with the lead- they came back all year long.

LETS NOT FORGET BRADY CHOKED AWAY AN UNDEFEATED SEASONAND NO LONGER HAS A DEFENSE TO HELP HIM OUT.BRADY LOST A SB TOO.

of course...cause brady has played with two hall of fame receivers for most of his career...lolol...gimme a break....before brady had his knee blown out...this wasnt even really an argument.....

manning is the better qb right now....but it took a devestating knee injury to brady for that to happen...it wasnt even an argument before that

brady choked away an undefeated season? he was wearing a boot on his injured foot for two weeks before the superbowl....and he took them down the field to get thet go ahead score with 2 minutes left....it took a dropped int by samuel, a no in the grasp call or lack of an obvious holding call on the manning to tyree play, and the miracle catch itself to derail that undefeated season

JIMMY!!!!!!!????????? He doesn't have a strong arm!!!!!!????????
Jim did you notice where sharper was lining up most of the nite. He was 20 yards off the line of scrimmage almost every play.
I think they saint were basically SCREAMING "your not going deep all nite"

Brady wasn't very clutch vs Baltimore, 3 picks and 154 yds, 49.1 rating.

Brady never played a team as good as these Saints..

    Brady had Belichek..

Manning is so good he allows the NFL to fill their "black coach" quota..(Kinda like how Michael and Kobe are so good they can afford to have a couple white guys on their teams)

Manning is practically the Head coach and the best QB in the league at the same time..

Colts just an average team this year..Manning the only player that could take them to Super Bowl..

Manning better than Brady... Manning best ever probably

Manning has a much stronger arm than Brees who has had a weak arm since high school. The thing about the Colts is you switch Manning and put him on the Pats and put Brady on the Colts, the Pats would be the better team. Manning can carry a team a little more than Brady can although both great.

Manning is the Phil Mickelson of the NFL.

Brady always had a defense....Manning only had 8 possessions last night & one was 3 runs & out! Manning has won 5 of his last 6 vs the Pats! We'll see how the numbers look when they're both done! I agree that Manning runs the offense PERIOD but the offense has always been that way! I think the Colts will win another 1 or 2 but if they don't then they don't! I've met alot of them and they're class all the way! Jeff Saturday acted like he was more interested in meeting me than I was with him! I put BeleF*ck/Brady/and the Pats in with the 90s Dallas Cowboys teams! Great accomplishment and talent but a collection of aholes, cheaters, and classless guys! Rodney "Cheap Shot artist...dirtiest player in the NFL (voted by fellow players) Harrison...not to mention he got popped for HGH! Tom "Baby Momma" Brady, BeleCheat, etc. About the same class as Jimmy Johnson, Mike Irvin, Nate Newton, etc.!

The Colts have always run a classy organization and they're fun to watch! Maybe they catch up to the big boys because I think 3 SBs in the age of salary cap is about the best anyone will ever do again! If they don't...I still respect them and I can feel good about my kid rooting for them!

Peyton Manning Playoff record 9-9 1 Superbowl
Tom Brady Playoff record 14-4 3 Superbowls

Peyton Manning can have all the regular season stats (Inflated because he plays on carpet). Give me Tom Brady when you have to win a game. . Also the Colts are the Atlanta Braves of the NFL.

I don't think Manning would be better than Brady in a outdoor stadium in New England. IMO, Manning is a little soft.

Manning actually studies film and plays scenerios over and over again in his head, he doesnt have the advantage of having his coach giving him the defensive signals ala THE HOODY.

Brady has always had a better team defensively around him except for the last 2-3 years! Guess what...Manning is 5-1 vs the Pats last 6! Its a TEAM GAME people! Brady won 3 SBs by a FG....got there on the 1st one on that tuck-rule BS which was definitely a fumble! Manning OWNS Brady now and he isn't done by a long shot! Bottom line imo....Manning has ABSOLUTELY had to throw for 300+ for the Colts to win most of his career while Brady hasn't! Manning will get another 1-2 SBs imo....he won't quit and the Colts are still young overall! 2 rookie WRs and CBs for Christs sake!

Every year The NFL officers planning the schedule give Manning an easy path in regular season. They played a bunch of no bodies. The games against decent competitions are all at home. This year Baltimore and New York Jets cleared the path for him. The 9-9 playoff record shows his true capabilities.

I will agree w/Grux that Brady would prob be better in New England! He has a stronger arm to cut thru the wind! Here's another thing though in Mannings defense! Our best team was prob the 2005 Colts...wasn't Paytons fault that the team was so distracted by Dungy's kids suicide...Dungy got badly outcoached just like last night...and Vanderjagt missed the field goal! If Vinateri choked like that...how many rings does Brady have
