Default How did the books do?

Anyone know with a Saint wins did the books make money or lose? The lines moved from toward the Saint side a lot towards the the beginning for the game.

Lost on some that had the alt lines of Saints -7.5 @ +600 for those ballsy enough to take it.

Looked like kind of balanced action. The number going under hurt the players. I think the square books did great and everyone else did good.

Most books did well. Vegas probably made a killing.Books like bodog probably are laughing all the way to the bank right now.

Books lost on Money Line, but more than made up for it with ATS Dog/Under combo.

Saint ML got crushed today though, and books ended up with 49% on Saints ML, which is bad since Saints went from +190 to close of +177 at Pinny. Still, like I said, they made up for it in other areas.

I hedged a bit on the the Colts for the 2nd half. Have to sleep that one off, might of been a little Jack Daniels induced. As one poster said books like Bodog made a killing. From looking at the lines I think Pinny made an absolute fortune while Bookmaker had about a break even(they stayed with -5.5 for a lonnnng time).

Totally agree, Dog and Under were what "They" needed, like usual. I bet it's one of the best Superbowl holds Vegas ever had.

Speaking as a sportsbook writer who relies on tips as income, it was an absolutely terrible day.

LT that 59% is not accurate information. You are not thinking logically to the fact that even sites like sports insights etc do not track information from shit books/la vegas books and other foreign books/locals. That 49% number is whoreshit and no website will ever be able to track the exact ammount of money on each side. If you want to be technical i'd be willing to bet that much more than 49% of the ammount of money wagered on the super bowl moneyline was wagered on the colts ml.

    Curious

Do you have any info that would help out.

My resource was pregame.com, and they said over 60% went with the Colts and over.
That's why I assumed that the books did good on the Super Bowl.

    I would appreciate any insight.
