Exactly what I said when the Colts head coach crushed his players by giving away a chance at the perfect season, in fact I started a thread about this after week 14 giveaway game. The Colts head coach gave this superbowl away in week 14. Here is the thread I started and a quote from my thread:
I don't think the Colt's head coach understands
"This decision will cost the Colts a chance at even a super bowl IMHO."

The coach was following orders from the white GM, although I knew the Colts were not winning the Super Bowl when they pulled that stunt.

It was very unsportsmanlike, but no......they lost this game cause of the onside kick and the missed catch after it....
....but Manning wasn't clearly on the same level with Brees

week 14 had nothing to do with yesterday
OK and the Saints weren't supposed to win because they lost their last 3 regular season games. 1st team ever to do this!
Saints won this game because they were the better team on this particular day.

If you think Manning wasn't in on that decision your obviously not paying attention. Manning and Caldwell run that team by committee. I think the reason they lost is the colts didn't go down the field enough times, and they got burned by not making the defense respect the deep ball.

I always speculated, but this thread confirms it, you have no clue in **** what you are talking about.
If you think he had any say in the matter u dont have a brain. If you let the players decide, they stay in the game every time.
And the GM decided to sit the players not the coach or QB. If they go 14-0 next year, they'll sit again. Thats how he runs his team
I also feel like it had no relevance what so ever. And if anything the loss of Welker playing in a meaningless game at the end of the year is the exact reason why he has decided to do it like this.
