He lost twice to Nebraska for the national championship in college and lost again tonight in Superbowl. The guy is not clutch and chokes on the big game. Season stats are meaningless when you can't win the big one.

Colts play in the weakest division. They play Texans, Jaguars, Titans. This is why his regular season stats always look good. He chokes on the big game.

    Yeah what a failure.

Pavy you are a sad human being. You are such a miserable failure that you hate everyone that does well.

Next time your mom is cooking lamb brains look down on your fat hand.

    NO SUPERBOWL RINGS.

    Now Glenn look at your life...Manning = $20 million + a year > you = $20,000 a year if that

    Kill yourself please.

So true! He's no Kurt Warner, that's for sure. Manning’s 4-game playoff run in his Super Bowl-winning season:
    97 of 153 (63.4%) for 1,034 yards, 6.8 YPA, 3 TD, 7 INT, 70.5 passer rating

3 TD's and 7 INT's? He was fortunate to play against Grossman in the Super Bowl. He basically had a good 2nd half against new England that post season, and that's it.

When his Atlanta Braves pounds Jacksonville next season and he throws for 400 yards and 4 TD's, everyone will forget this while the PR machine will be in full gear. They'll be talking about a 3rd straight MVP even though there are other players who will play better and have better numbers just like the last 2 seasons.

I think Manning is the new Mr. October.

I blame Bill Polian. The Colts are a collection of stiffs built around Manning. This works great in the regular season against various second rate teams trying to iron out an identity. But in the playoffs, the Colts will eventually be shown for what they are. There's a reason why Manning is only .500 in the playoffs. The answer is Polian.

It takes talent to win in the playoffs. The Colts are always holding the short end of that stick. Thank Bill Polian.

Totally agree. Without Manning, they don't sniff the playoffs. Ever. It's like those early, talent deficient bronco teams that Elway carried on his back, to the Superbowl, but were ultimately exposed. But those Bronco teams were better than these Colt teams. Manning is extremely special, as was Elway.

I blame this on the Colts coaching staff....see where playing conservative and running out the clock gets you?

The Saints were given the win...Sean Peyton didnt have to do anything but just sit on the sideline and look pretty

Manning has more freedom than any QB in football to call plays. As for Sean Peyton, besides going for it on 4th down and kicking the 1st ever on side kick in Super Bowl history that wasn't in the 4th quarter while his team dials up 31 points, he was a complete dud.

Yeah, other than the offensive line, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Joseph Addai, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, and Gary Brackett, they got zilch.

Manning will hold every passing record before his career is over and he already has won a SuperBowl. He's a winner in my book.

Reggie and Dallas are nothing without Peyton. Reggie is a #2 WR, Dallas is a utility back. Freeney is great, but with only one wheel he was ineffective. Mathis is only great opposite a Freeney. Brackett?! The 0-line is marginal, at best, despite Polian building it around Manning to protect his only investment.

Peyton is a decent coach, no need to hate on him. The Colts staff are there to appease Manning, nothing more.

Yep. The Elway and Manning are similar, IMHO. Although, Elway was maybe the more raw athelete, Manning is more cerebral.

Manning=Colts. Sean Payton was a coach, Jim Caldwell was a bystander.

Manning = Colts?? Just like the year when Colts won the Superbowl and Manning had 3 touchdowns and 7 Interceptions in the post season? I wonder who has thrown the most post-season interceptions and won a super bowl, has anyone thrown more? Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer did better in their team's Super bowl runs.

Manning= Colts? More like Freeney = Colts. When he was moving well early, New Orleans couldn't score. As far as Clark and Wayne not being much, I bet Jay Cutler would like to have them as his receivers. As well as their offensive line.
