    Default Can anyone help me on some Algebra?

    It's been a decade since I took my last Algebra class and I'm stuck on an equation. I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm trying to solve for M....

    M=(H+E)+((M*J)/100)

    Heh. Any chance you or someone else could help me with another? Solving for M again....

    M=(H+E)-(M/.01W)

    Thank God I am way past the Algebra stage of my life. I had to retake Calculus TWICE in college.

    M=(H+E)-(M/.01W)

    It's been awhile but I'm pretty sure this is correct.

    M= W(H+E)/(W+100)

    Hope that helps.

    If the original equation is to be interpreted as M=(H+E)-(M/(.01W))then EBone's solution is correct.

    If, however, you had actually meant for the original equation to be interpreted as M=(H+E)-(M/.01)*W, then the solution would be M=(E+H)/(100W+1)
