If I were still in Vegas, I would have been up and in the casino by 7am............and not coming home till well after midnight.
Living in the east is total boredom compared to living in Vegas....................

I'm on the east coast and would move to the west coast tomorrow if I could. If you're a real sports fan, it's the only place to be.

PST is AWESOME if you have TiVo. Wake up at noon. Watch football for 6 hours straight without watching a commercial or halftime.

I'm in the West and yes, the NFL times are very advantageous. However, NBA and MLB times during the week aren't. Games start at 4pm and that is during business hours. Anyhow, it doesn't bother me much. I wouldn't mind having live sports going on at midnight, which is what the East gets.
I guess we all want to try something different.
BTW, everyone I know that has moved to Las Vegas has pretty much summed it up as a place to visit and not to live. The weather can be horrific and living in the desert can be depressing. This is from people who don't gamble. I can imagine that it could be even worse for a degenerate gambler.

I agree...I love PT. Imagine waiting until 7pm for the games to start. PT always gets the action early and always you have time for a good night sleep cause most the games are over around 10 pm. True being said, you need also a winning evening in order to rest properly.

I've lived all over the country and I think CST time is the best. Game's don't start that early and they end not so late. Living on the East coast, some games end way too late at night, especially if you want to watch Pac10 football games or west coast NBA. Living on the west coast you have to set a dam alarm clock to see early east coast CFB games. Screw that.
Central time is the best of both words...

I think the EST is set up perfect. I have never lived in Pac Time zone, but I guess it's mainly what you're used to. I like to get up on Sat & Sun morn, drink my coffee, do some capping, & watch gameday for a couple hours. I couldn't imagine games coming on that early in the morning. It would seem foreign to me.

Profit - East coast is great for late night people but some of those Monday night games end damn near 1am in the morning. Even boxing, starts real late on the East coast. You really can't do anything afterwards. Central time is ideal because you get the best of both worlds. I do like the West coast for the late games because they end early enough to hit the clubs. It's just the early stuff that makes the west coast suck. I've missed many early plays on the west coast because the games start like 9am and your still recovering from the night before. It really sucks if you use a book that waits until that day to post lines.

I generally like the West Coast times, except for the college hoops and foots on the weekend. 9 AM can be a bit early to get rolling. I couldn't imagine the 1st NFL game being at 1 PM, but I'm sure I could get used to it. Definitely prefer the West coast times for the World Series and Monday Night football etc.

West coast here!!
Nothing like getting up early during college football season...and placing bets before 9AM...to start the day!
and you still have all saturday night after games over to go out,and do your thing

Me either. I wake up around 11am on sundays. Eastern time is the best time. Hawaii game at 1am it doesn't get any better.
