For real, New York New York is good for kids. I can not remember the name but there was one ( a Castle if I remember, I was drunk on that end of the strip) right acroos the street from New York.

Cricus Circus is good, but he may not be into that typre of stuff.

MGM has an area for the kids.

Down by New York is a huge arcade and of course there is M&M world there as well.

Hope that helps but most of these are near the ens of the strip.

Shady Vegas has been destroyed by children, back in the 60 s the marfia ran Vegas, whatever you wanted you could get, mob guys influenced every table, and every bar. today they have rides atop of a buiding. so your son will have a good time lots of things for kids I went their with a made guy in the early seventies and his only comment was do you know how many holes there are in the dessert for this, he held his hand in disquste and bringig it down with force.

Vegas isn't really a place for kids, and you really shouldn't have to babysit the kid on your vacation there. Go to Vegas, win some money, and use it to take them somewhere else.

shady they have a wonderful sight, called vegas attractions .com they do a great job, especially with things to do. good luck and have a wonderful trip.Sandy there are maybe a half dozen high priced hotels but the rest are all the same. maybe 70 or 80 per night , like paris etc. not wacky but pretty nice. T HERE ARE MANY SIDETRIPS to hoover dam the grand canyon even some national parks all day trips, fun for everyone good luck , there is a show with a vandtrilquist , he was on a t.v. show , he won it and became a big star. your son will love it good luck and have a great family trip.

There are things to do in Vegas with an 11 year old, but it will not be the same for you if this is the 1st time you've been to Vegas. Depends when you go, there's the pool, Hoover Dam, shows. Also places like Gameworks, things to do at Excalibur, Circus Circus, and the Statsosphere for example. If I were you when the kid goes to bed, you get some time out on your owe to do some gambling. Otherwise, it would be better to go to Orlando with an 11 year old.
