Default Ridiculous cris book-to-book transfer charges?

    Hey Guys!

As many of you are aware Betcris charges silly amounts for book-to-book transfers ($100 up to $5K and $200 beyond that).

So, given that there is no real reason behind this charge, is there a way to 'encourage' betcris into reducing this transfer fee? Is there something SBR can do in assisting with this?

I know there is not much that can be done if Cris doesn't wish to comply but I was simply looking at ideas how Cris could be encouraged to scrap this or reduce this retarded amount.

    No, Pedro.

I sent them repeated e-mails about how they're shooting themselves in the foot by screwing people over on these ridiculous charges. I told them they were losing many players (including me) whom they would make far more money on by keeping our business than by screwing us with withdrawal and transfer fees.

They pretty much told me to shove it. Actually, first, they told me to earn enough points to get a free payout. Then when I did earn the points, they told me that "my balance is too big, I can afford to pay the fees." I quoted that line on here, and they responded by firing the CS who said that to me but still charged me the fees. So I told them to screw themselves, ate the fees, and went elsewhere.

The best message you can send is with your feet by walking away. I've run from CRIS and Bookmaker as a result of their gauging during these times...

I hate CRIS so much. I can't wait until their agent network gets busted by the FBI.

    Screw those bastards.

They obviously do not want business. Deposits are fine, but try to collect they gouge.

The only good thing about CRIS is they have a good (past) reputation.

I agree the charges are outrageous and counterproductive to a smart business model. At first they didn't bother me because I would have a "free play" every 2 days minimum. This more than made up for the fee gouging. Then I suddenly became a "professional" after 2 months and didn't "qualify" for the free play money. I thought it was interesting when i wagered 300k the first month that I didn't immediately register as a professional. It took 2 months of that!!!

Having said all that--I stick with them because they are not whiners abt big bets and/or big winners. No delay, no collar--just bring it on. I have to respect that in an environment where books resemble women's beauty salons (did you get that Tony??).

Its simple. Play elsewhere. Why deposit there, then complain about fees. This is worse than kindergarden.

You can be sure that CRIS has thought this over very well. The reason behind unreasonable charges is to discourage people from transferring money to other books. Many people will prefer to continue playing at CRIS instead, and most likely lose their money. The people who do transfer to another book pay a substantial fee, which is completely free money to CRIS; a farewell gift by the player, so to speak. These are obviously strong-arming tactics. Typically, such business antics reflect the mentality of the people in charge. And that is the main question I ask myself when entering a business relationship with a book (which is what depositing money at a book is!): Who are these people? How do they think? Are they worthy of my trust, yes or no? A single red flag is all I need to stay away. (I pretty much learned this the hard way.. )

I was thinking of signing up at CRIS. Do they charge fees on incoming transfers or just outgoing ones?

No fee coming in to CRIS ( or anywhere else).

I was able to get them to stop calling, thanks to RX Wilheim.

criss must be looking to get out of the usa market, they discourage a player from playing there.

Simple solution, have the book you are transferring into pick up the fee.

They already left the US (CRIS), but created Bookmaker to serve the US.

I think the whole group is way over-rated, should be like a C, not A+.

That's why I think they are way over-rated. They are going to run-off 90% of their smaller customers, and be left with only big bettors playing openors, and those players might just beat them.
