Default SCREAMING -- I've lost six straight baseball bets!!!!

And last night night, I chased it in the casino with predictable results. I'm already thinking of dipping into the baby's Pamper's money.

Should I start another "I'm leaving" opus thread?

Take it easy my man. Maybe you should take a break for a night or so. It will turn around for you. Let's not do something you'll regret later. Believe me, I've been there.

Please don't take the diapers off your babies butt. That could get messy.

Chill out for a day or two. Maybe build that bankroll back up, then comeback to betting.

Take a long break. Once you start chasing, you'll dig a deeper hole.

Be careful my friend. Take a few days off. Best thing you can do at this time.

Six losses is pretty common. Even if you play great lines the ball just bounces that way sometimes. I think a good way to clear your head is to sit down and do a monthly budget. Figure out how much you have left after all expenses and then start equating that money to what you buy. Sometimes gambling can make money feel like monopoly cash and we need to step back and see what you are really risking. If you decide not to quit or take a break, you might find you can cut the bet size and still get a rush out of a smaller play.

Do a George Castanza and do the opposite of what your good handicapping senses tell you.I actually was frustrated enough to try that method once and it worked.

If six losses in a row is creating real stress, you're either betting too much or perhaps this is not for you. If your bet size was within your limits, then you haven't lost anything. But be aware that you may have your nose open, and now may be the most dangerous time for undisciplined betting.

In any case, whenever you're emotionally spent, take a break. That's pretty basic and has nothing to do with gambling. (Except that gambling can be more emotionally draining than most other fields.)

As long as you're a disciplined bettor, I disagree with the advice to measure gambling money against real world money. Bet size is bet size.

6 loses in a row is nothing, most have them every 3 weeks or so

Keep betting until you break the streak and you will be fine.
