Hey, onner, it's funny you posted this... I was just trying to book something for March 25-29. I can get two comp nights at Mandalay Bay but the rates for the other three nights are higher than I want! I'm gonna try to negotiate them down.

If I didn't mind going a couple weeks later, I could get two comp nights plus three nights at $99, but I want to go for March Madness!!!!

Hope I can do it... trying to get name of a host.

Rooms are cheap everywhere all month. Vegas is practically giving away rooms right now, in fact, the Harrah's group is giving away 2 nights FREE to player's card members every month. I'm going second week in March gratis.

Surprised you can't go because of hotels. I am getting nearly every night comped. The only nights I have to pay for are Friday and Saturday.

Conference tournaments are March 12-14.
Saint Pat's Day is March 17.
Round 1 is March 18-19
Round 2 is March 20-21

I will be there from March 13 - 21.

As I said, I'm going to be there for the regionals, which take place March 25-28. 16 to 8 and 8 to 4. Can't wait!

5 nights at a Mandalay suite, two comped and three at casino rate. Total is only 350 to split with my friend!

Premium nights will cost you, but they could probably comp the weekdays. Some off the strip casinos offer rooms for as low as 20 bucks a night with players card. It never hurts to call and try to deal with them. Hell they will probably throw in some free play money on your players card and food comps.
