    Default street thief

Did anyone watch this movie from the Bader brothers yet? It's supposedly a documentary on some scumbag who robs places. Pretty good, but it's got to be fake. Looked real though.

Yes my question is was that real or not? What kind of thief would let you tape him.

On a sidenote, there's a computer game called 'Thief' (the dark project). Best game I ever played. Sneaking around in the shadows, trying to make no sound. My wife, who is normally cool, used to watch me play and completely freak out when I was detected and had to fight some of those undead. Almost like I was an actor in a play, and she believed it.

Im sure I saw at the start that it was a documentary on a real thief. Why he allowed them to film why he was commiting crimes is beyond me. I kept thinking to myself, arent the filmer/company/producers guilty of conspiracy.

To answer your question, I do believe it was real footage used on the show. Maybe they will follow it up with real court/jail footage when they all get busted.

added: do a search of street thief, you find all kinds of answers to your question.Bottom line it is based on a real thief in Chicago, whether the footage is real or not seems to be in question.
