Anyone make the trek to Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs,Arkansas this year?

Seems like a nice trip for northerners stuck in snow and cold that only live a stay overnight away driving.Weather on average should be ok but you never know.So if anyone is a regular there,what is your impression of the whole track-casino-town and area?Race purses seemed to have gone down a bit every year for the past few years.That would be a great track for a syndicate with limited funds to claim a horse.

Hey Brent. I was watching TVG tonight and the announcer said that the big wigs at Oaklawn have a big announcement tomorrow. She did not say what it was, but said it was big news.
