Default Biggest outright dog to win in any sport?

Has a 100-1 or higher dog ever hit? I seen for example boise state played new mexico state in one of the last few weeks of college foots and boise was a -47.5 or so fav and the only book to offer moneyline odds I believe was 5dimes. The ml odds were some absurd number like -40000 or maybe even higher for boise state.

Anyone have any knowledge of a 100 to 1 dog or higher cashing?

I think it may have been Buster Douglas 42-1 or something of that nature. Not sure, I personally have no knowledge of 100 to 1

The Stanford-USC game of a few years ago is the highest profile mega-upset that spring to mind. Stanford was a 40+ point dog if I remember correctly.

Backup QB leads 41-point underdog to 24-23 upset of Trojans"

Would've been a real nice ML play on Stanford

Stanford was about a 40 to 1 dog. I know for a fact that the odds were never close 100 to 1.

Cheers richkas. Lets get the man tonight.

No idea that the moneyline was, but it was the biggest upset in college football history.

Jenson Button winning Formula 1 WDC was 100-1 prior to pre-season testing this year.
Greece were 80-1 to win Euro 2004 (soccer)

Sorry to mention global sports rather than US college football/baskets

Global sports is fine too still I find it very interesting when a huge underdog wins.

There have been a few huge dogs to win Golf majors down the years. Off the top of my head I can think of Bob Tway, Larry Mize, Ben Curtis and Todd Hamilton. All of these were certainly 100-1 or more.

Stanford first to come to mind. What about Appy State @ Michigan? I know most places didn't post a line but there had to be someone that did.

5 Dimes had Stanford at +10000 on that faithful day vs. USC:

Even though Stanford was +41 and Syracuse was +38, the ML was actually higher on Syracuse.
