This is the case with maybe 75% of the games, maybe more. The game stays up until the first pitch/tip off/kick off etc. Sometimes up to 5 minutes or more, depending on when the game actually does start.

Agreed.....Very common, especially in baseball. I'm actually a little surprised when Pinny does take their line down at the percieved starting time, as keeping the line up two to three minutes past the scheduled start seems to be their general rule of thumb.

Although they will cancel bets if someone past posts them.

One time I bet ten dollars on a game late just to see if it would go through. It did. So I immediately sent an email to CS and they sent me a nasty note saying the bet had been canceled and scolding me for making it!

Back when Bowmans was a good sportsbook, I'd call several minutes after kickoff of a football game and could usually get "extra time", meaning they'd allow me to still make a bet on the game. Generally, the score was still 0-0 and the amount wasn't huge. They had great customer service...

pinny page has something crazy once. i remember last year duing the second half of the mlb season, there is a event which was posted around 2am-4am on a certain day...i forgot which day it was. the event was "do not bet +100 and testing +100" i wagered 1 dollar each for fun. the wager was pending for 3 days then it got cancelled.

It must have been the case when they left the game up by mistake. This thread is not about this kind of issue.

It sounds to me like those bets should definitely have been graded winners.

You might want to Bill about that.
