Default Moneygram Online Option

Just curious if anyone in the US has used the moneygram online option to deposit? Please share your experience with this deposit method. Did you transfer straight from your bank account? Thx.

i used my CC once and did it online. i had to answer a million questions and they treated me like a criminal, it was a 2 hour process. when i tried to do it a 2nd time using my CC online, it was cancelled by them.

you can go to any walmart and pay cash, they have MG's, usually subject to customer service hours. it's quick and easy, fee's are like $11 or so,book may cover depending on how much send, etc

in regards to checking acct, i've never tried that

use moneygram's website to find a location near you(there are more around than you think), but call ahead. I have heard that the listings aren't 100% reliable. In store, it'll be done in 5 minutes.

MG and WU's on-line location finders are absolutely horrible. Huge numbers of missing locations and many listed that don't exist.

i've yet to find a moneygram outside of walmart, although they do exist. your best bet is to go to walmart.

there are a couple grocery stores that have them(I got the locations from Moneygram's website). Next time you're there, take a walk past the service counter to see. That's what I've used.

as noted above, call and ask them first before going to any non-walmart store. i've found some places where MG is supposed to exist, and it does not.
