Its far more than speculation that MB has some debt issues Fish. They even gave Lenny from Cascade a $100k line of credit and you can guess how that worked out.

So you have a book that owes a lot of guys and unfortunately for them has been heavily stiffed but has done a good job insulating its post up retail business. Probably what we will see is far less liquidity as those big agents/market makers who are owed stop doing business there. Eventually someone with enough money will buy them out and end up with the MB name. What happens in the meantime?? Thats the speculation part.

Pheonix?..they are only as good as their last payout category..which then I would rate them A ( yeah I know sounds ridiculous due to their lack of long history)..and the reason I dont give em A+ is because they have a little more down time then some other top joints

I mean..BetPheonix is the only place I won where I get a message with the control number in 5 hours..I dont have to listen to the melancholic jinx music while put on hold and praying that when the agent returns to the line, his first couple of words will signify has has my control #..

This is one of the most under rated methods of knowing how solid a book is..Watch who they do business with..Books wont warn ya about other book`s financial woes..But they sure as hell wont deal with them..Kinda like the company ya keep

From my blue collar end...I would play with them today, because they would pay me tomorrow..They also have a great selection of games..and you can parlay alot of stuff combining different sports that only place like 5D, BKM and few others do

Funny story about a fast payout

I called Rebate Wager for a payout this year..(and keep in mind Bookmaker took 10 days to get me a control # this year)

anyways..I called 5 hours after requesting the pay out..I did not think they would have it but JJ would praise them well..I would have been happy to have it in 24 hours..so the agent says the money will be ready in the evening (which I thought was great)..right before I hung up..in my most stupidest voice I told the agent.."I did not expect it to be ready..but JJ Gold from SBR told me that they pay fast"..the guy kinds hesitated..we said good byes..2 fukin minutes later some guy named Leo calls me up with the payout info..no bull shit

I dont know..maybe the lack of direct business with more established shops is partially due to their lack of history of long term stability

BP is on solid ground. They still own or receive a cut of DSI. They have been here in Costa Rica a very long time. They are not an A book because they have too many moving pieces and things just are not smooth yet. But the ownership is well funded.

I am going to say though (like someone earlier) this is very relevant information. Most do not realize it but there can be no stronger endorsement than doing transfers with books Greek, CRIS (Bookmaker), Matchbook and 5Dimes. In fact the two main books are probably Greek and CRIS, they are on top of what is going on in this industry. The founder (and Micky) run CRIS very well, Spiro at Greek is one of the better minds out there. Unlike the forums they know each other, they do business amongst themselves, it is their livelihood to know who to trust and who not to. Don't get my wrong I have no beef with BP personally, just telling you that what the OP posted is almost always relevant information. In fact over the last 10 years who is doing what with who on B2B transfers has been one of the key tells about who is having problems and may hit the airport with your money. I've seen it time and time again where certain books stop doing transfers with another book. Each time it happens there is almost a consensus amongst the top books to quit doing business with that one particular book, it's not a coincidence.

Great post Fish, shame some do not realize the information they are given. I will say it's not always financially motived. For example they quit doing transfers with Pinny a few years back, wasn't because they didn't trust Pinnacle it was because they were tired of sending money to this place as players kept transfering out of their place, LOL. This is not always all-inclusive but it is certainly something to keep an eye on. Most definitely.

Sorry to hear this. I had seen mention of it before and it seems feasible that the portal hosting the contest would have paid the money to you. I do not know all the facts though. Sorry again for your trouble.

I doubt so either..........however, as has been proven many times in the past with other shops, this is only one piece of the puzzle that must be analyzed when debating if a shop is worth the RISK vs REWARD.
