If Griffin is no action, there is no action on any other player also. So which would be a more reasonable way to handle these wagers: cancel all, or cancel none? I'd go with canceling none, and give your wager action.

If there is no rule on point about action, your guy had a chance to win when it was placed. Everyone else's odds were less. After the announcement, the effective odds dropped to 0, and everyone else's increased.

I agree that IASBet is shady, but I think they are in the right on this one.

There is a difference between a futures bet, and a prop bet. In a prop bet with 1-2 players listed, all must participate for action. In a futures bet, there is normally action whether or not the person plays. It's not realistic to cancel the entire wager for everyone betting because one player got hurt.

Sportsbooks should still refund the money for not having this clause written in plain view for players to see.this player deserves his monry back and for now on require all these futures to have the rules in writing stating your bet stands even if the player never plays.but until its in writing this player deserves a refund .

Why do sportsbooks not clerify the rules its obvious to take free shots at players.

I can't believe the idiotic responses here. The Griffin bet is a loser, period.

The analogy on the future book is equally wrong. When the KD future bet is made, there is no refund PERIOD. If a horse is withdrawn while a pool is open, wagering on that horse is suspended, but all wagers made prior to that are considered action.
