Many of the posters these days have no idea what it was like back in the day. Gold withstood the days when most would run scared and run fast. These days are nothing like it used to be.

General, there are different forms of respect. Yours is reflectionary respect because you were there and you saw what was. However to be fair you also have an interest in JJ's reputation since you are either a ghost of his, a friend or you simply work for the company.

For those of us that were not around in the days of forum wars we can still have respect for JJ but on a different level. We can repsect the fact that he is at it day in day out non-stop. We can respect his dedication to creating videos. However having respect for someone does not mean you have blind faith in someone nor does it mean everything they do deserves a free pass.
