AND BARELY BEATING STANFORD AND ARIZ ST. BUT HERE IS THE ICING ON THE CAKE LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF POINTS UCLA HAS GIVEN UP IN THERE LAST 6 GAMES-35,52,27,28,
41&40, AND LOOK AT HOW MANY POINTS USC HAS SCORED-50,35,51,55,51&34 IN THERE LAST 6 GAMES!! USC OFFENSE
AGAINST UCLA DEFENSE IS HUGE MISMATCH!! WITH THAT BEING SAID DOES USC-21 SOUND A LITTLE BETTER TO YOU?? PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS??

I don't see an edge either way in this game. I don't like betting on USC games because it could be close (like Notre Dame) or they could blow them out of the water (like Oregon). People forget that USC is only 5-6 against the number. They're a very inconsistent team from a betting standpoint. As far as public favorites go, Texas and Virginia Tech are much more reliable from a betting standpoint, with 9-2 records ATS. 21.5 is a bad number to bet on USC with as well. That basically means they have to win by 24, so you're giving up an extra 2.5 points because of that hook on the three touchdowns. There may be some value in USC -20.5 and some value in UCLA +21.5, but not enough either way to warrant a play from me. USC will win the game obviously, but I could easily see UCLA keeping it close or covering from the backdoor. The fact that this is a major rivalry game (its UCLA's Super Bowl) makes it even more unpredictable and unattractive from a betting standpoint.

I don't know about you guys, but it would be interesting to see USC, Texas, and Virginia Tech all go down this week. Can you imagine the wrench that would throw into the BCS Standings? Probably not going to happen, but it would be something.

Wow, you are so great IMGV94. You can actually pick a 22 point favorite. You must be a real sharp with that kind of talent. I don't really care about the USC game because I chose not to play it. I didn't have a betting opinion on the game. I didn't say USC wasn't going to cover, I simply said I didn't like the game and I didn't see an edge on either side. I just don't like laying 22 points with a team that's .500 ATS. The fact that I didn't play USC isn't going to ruin my 5-1 day any.
