I did a wire with Chase that went out last Wednesday en route to Matchbook. I am still waiting for it to hit my Matchbook account. Today is day 4, will feel better when I see it hit my account.

Will do. I haven't heard anything going awry with a wire to Matchbook other than Picoman having trouble with BkofAma. So I stayed away from them, and also have heard from others that they aren't gambling friendly, so I opened an account with Chase for this express purpose. This is the first time I have sent a wire in the 5 figure denomination. So I am anxious more than anything, I feel everything will go ok. It just is a litte unnerving waiting on it when you have that kind of money just floating out in la-la financial land.
Will definitely let you know, as it sounds like you plan to do it. Be aware that Chase flagged my transaction. They called me the morning after I put in the wire at the bank and said, "Our fraud department wanted us to contact you as we have had some fraudulent activity in the UK, and they identified this as a potentially fraudulent transaction. I said go ahead and send it, I know where it is going.

You could've priority/certified mailed a check or a bank check or a bunch of money orders no? or wouldn't they take that?
BTW Chase leaves me a voice mail every time i re up anywhere...i just ignore the call and I never hear from them again...they're all over that fraud shit!

Not sure Patrick. Matchbook says on their site the best way is to send a wire and that is what other knowledgeable people have recommended. I am sure it will be there soon, but will feel better once it is in my account.

It is I think $40.00 to send an international wire. You might wait to send yours until I can confirm that my money is in my Matchbook account. It is up to you. I am hoping sometime soon I can confirm that everything is safe and sound.

matchbook and wsex don't accept cashier's checks...I think they need to look into changing that policy here soon...I'm on day five of my wire to WSEX, it was temporarily sent back to my bank because the lady forgot to put the IBAN number on it...will keep everyone updated...

Well I am happy to report success. Money just hit my account. So I can personally recommend sending a wire via Chase to Matchbook. It did take 6 business days.
