I have wanted to play at Matchbook but I've made a decision not to play at books rated less than a B+ on SBR.

I use them. They have some decent odds, shame about the 2% com, wish it was 1% like Mansion

Matchbook is just a typical new book that will never succeed

I have no clue why they waste their time

They are owned by 'World Sports Exchange' who are A rated & a good solid book.

So there is no real risk of Matchbook going bust

I hope they succeed. Their betting interface is very slick. The best I have seen from any betting exchange, including the UK exchange giant Betfair.

for many reasons stated above, I won't be playing with matchbook...I will give them a year and see how they do...If they make it up to an A- rating or above, I'll think about it again...

I like playing at Matchbook. I usually find a good line or two each day even with the 2% commision. They also have live wagering if you are into that. Even though I prefer Mansion, Matchbook does have alot more options on unique sports auto racing, golf etc...

If you add the 2% commission it is the same as Pinny

matchbook cuts out the middle man, i like their odds, but they just have too few events going on. unless you're only betting recreationally on popular sporting events, i don't see any value to that book. their website keep crashing and they lost my wire deposit. i want to try them out, but it seems like the gambling gods are telling me to stay away.

Do you have any clue what you are talking about? It is not the same as pinny and matchbook has lines every day that beat pinny's lines after factoring in commissions. Right now, there is about $7k available on matchbook at -160 (157 pre comm.) versus -163 pinny.

Matchbook is a great book and there is plenty of liquidity unless your standard bet is over $500 or $1k.

Too few events? They have every baseball game ML, RL, and total. Every football and basketball game, sides, totals, and even 2nd half lines.

You can usually get down AT LEAST between 5 and 7k per game. If you are willing to take slightly worse odds you can usaully get down about 10-15k.

They are the exact opposite of what you described. The standard 20c/dime line books are for recreational players. Matchbook is for the pros. Have prices unmatched anywhere else.

    Not true.

I consistently get between 15k and 20K matched at better prices (including commission) than pinnacle.

The spreads on MLB are 1 penny.

The truth is that EVERY professional bets at MB these days.

Keep in mind that when you see 7k up there, that doesnt mean once you take that that there is nothing else. Immediately there will be more offers up there, and when I put out 20K offers they get snapped up sometimes in a minute.

MB IS A MUST FOR ANYONE SERIOUS ABOUT MAKING MONEY SPORTSBETTING.

    Matchbook-WSEX for myself

mavs - jj just likes to hear himsefl talk. As you can see he spouted at the mouth about Matchbook, yet he knew very little about it. The ones who do not give MB a chance are the ones who are misinformed. If someone understood MB, why would anyone play anywhere else?

matchbook is great but like i said, only for well known events (which is a lot of them), but if you wnat to place a wager on Japanese league 2 soccer game, you have to go to pinnacle.

obviously there is a stronger demand for NBA/MLB/NFL/NCAA than for a Japanese soccer game...

not saying anything bad about matchbook. all i want to say is that you need matchbook plus another good sportsbook.

I joined matchbook approx a month ago and now make more than 90% of my wagers there. I save around 3-5% per wager vs. Betjam (my other main book). It's not even close when you look at it strictly from a dollar and cents perspective. I'm just pissed at myself for not giving it a shot earlier.

After the experience I had with Mansion, I don't think I'll EVER deal with an exchange again. If I want to get action down, I want to know my action is booked when I make the call. Mansion is a joke...Problem was, I'd make an offer and then sit there for hours wondering if anyone would take it. F_ that! Sportsbooks fulfill a role in society.
