Fed has been striking the ball like a God and floating like a butterfly across the court. Take Fed -6 or take nothing at all.

At very worst this will be 3-1 Roger. Likely it will be 3-0. Fed gets first set, then the pressure is on in the 2nd.... and in the 3rd, well, you can forget about it. Classic Roger format.

Fed -5 in GS's produces a push or better of something like 82% or better. Haven't checked it in a while, but that's what it was recently.

I'd rather take my chances w/ the Master on -6 HC instead of backing some guy who has a victory celebration that looks like Curious George jumping up and down on center court as tho he has intercepted a Central American banana shipment to the US.

Match won't be too close. Think Monfils/Fed at the French Open last year. Tight in the first set but after that Tsonga can't keep up w/ the Fed... and then it's clear as day from there on out. It's the basic formula for Fed matches.

Cilic could've beat Murray yest or tested him to the limit... but he was clearly out of gas. As it was, that HC was a gift. That was a match where you fear the dog... but that dog could only play w/ 3 legs.

Tsonga is not the guy to challenge Fed. People are looking for a dog where there is a cat (read 'pussy'; ie, Tsonga). The guy has been in 85 straight semis and 50 straight finals... and people want to continue to fade him in the wrong spot. Now is not the time. Fed is on fire, Fed himself knows he's on fire, and the dish for this evening is Tsonga salmon.

Fed's greatest hurdle was Davy. Like in pre-Nadal matches, Fed thought himself into a rut pre-match vs. Davy and consequently started the match spraying balls everywhere. Fed won't have that psychological blip tonight. Rather, it will be like the damn breaking and the Fed greatness will simply drown Tsonga.

I am hoping for a classic match of course. I always do. Wish we could get it started sooner. I am missing the tennis that has been on ESPN at this time for the previos couple weeks. It'll be worth the wait thsi morning to watch worlds #1 in action. He is impressive, but beatable, and I find it hard to believe Federer loses here. Surprises happen all the time though.

the comparison was not between Tsonga and Monfils (2 different ANIMALS). the comparison is in relation to the structure of the match and how it will play out.

tight first set which fed wins, then Tsonga won't be able to maintain the level in the 2nd, and now fed up 2-0 sets.... the wheels fall off in the 3rd set.
