Don't get me wrong guys, I'm glad to see that the NFL lines are already out there. However, I'm not going to bet anything this early when we have not even seen any type of training camp reports. Not to mention the injury factors that always seem to pop up during those exhibition games they play in August.

while i will not be placing any bets right now, espicialy because of the state of the online gaming industry, i don't think it's insane. i think it's smart - you may be able to get some bargains, if you know what you're doing.

Exactly. No way I'm betting an NFL game in June. That being said, as of right now GB +2.5 and Cincy -3 look good.

Stranger things have happened in the preseason too...

I won't even be considering the Week 1 lines until after the final preseason games are finished...

At first glance, Buffalo +3.5 hosting Denver looks good, as does SF -3 hosting AZ.

Its not that one should be betting on a Sept game in June...but for me the early lines like these can also give a glimps to line movements. After the start of Training camp in less than a month it will be interesting to see the movements and the cause of them.....JMO

Not really. A number of pros don't even bet week 1 b/c of the high level of uncertainty associated with each team.

They seem soft only in relation to say week 6 and beyond when the identity of the team is established.
