    has anyone done a wire recall? how long does that take?

    a few yrs ago i did one at 5dimes
    it was for over 12k and it took approximately 2 weeks. they had to do a "search" because there was an intermediary bank i wasn't aware of and the wire never hit my bank.

    thanks. mine was under 10k, but large enough for me to spend time and energy to track it down.

    your wire recall was iniated from your personal bank or is it iniated from the sportsbook?(5dimes in your case)

    it was initiated by 5dimes. to my knowledge, they are the ones that have to issue the "trace" (sorry not "search"). your bank doesn't do anything. they are notified when the funds come in - they would never search for them.
