    "A series doesn't start until the home team loses" - do you buy it?

    Or are the NBA finals all over?

    IMHO, when you take into account the difference in coaching, experience, talent, mental toughness, etc., the NBA finals are over.

    If you really think about this statement, a lot of series are over (in reality) before they even start (according to the theory). I just can't get over the fact that men who get paid millions of dollars a year and are considered to be at the top in their field (I'm talking coaches here) actually believe this theory.

    I don't agree with either, but after the Finals last season and the Cavs/Pistons series this year, I'd have to say that I disagree with option 2 less.
