Default What's up with New Orleans' Mike Bell?

He's had one game with 10 rushes in the last 5 games, and that was in the non-game with Carlina. Has he been relegated to the #3 RB?

yea Mike Bell has only gotten quality pt this year in mop up duty or if he was filling in for an injured back. I saw Hamilton get on the field before Bell in the Arizona game so maybe it's something else we don't know about.

Was wondering the same thing...How bout Espn interviewing Brees and Bush at the table post-game. Did Bush have a better game than Pierre? Or Even close?

I suppose Bush has more star appeal. Plus Bush had a spectacular game vs the Cards.

Bush is the do-everything back on the Saints. He can beat you running the ball, running kickoff and punts back, or catching the ball. In order for New Orleans to have any kind of chance at all against Indy, Bush has to have a big day.

Looks like he is #4, why? I have no idea. Bell is a hard runner and had some great games when given the chance to play. Take a look at NO offense when this guy was in the game. IMO Payton better focus a little more on the running attack against Indy, as I see that being the formula to beat Indy, keeping the Sheriff off the field.

Bell has never been anything much more than a role player or running back by committee type back.
