Speaking of SIA..............can I recieve some opinions/thoughts on their current operation in terms of what you posters think their safety level is and/or how they are handling payouts in the past 1-3 months?

    Thanks in advance

They supposedly show you the door at $30,000, the last I heard.

If so, I'm knocking on that door..............if I rejoin, I have to hope I lose there with my scalps/middles.

Great numbers at this little joint.

Covers really slipped and lost all credibility, place is run by frauds and losers. They will take an advertiser that will pay.

It's more like 10k, though there have been several recent reports of players shown the door at far less than that.

I have not been with SIA for 3 years.........but I recall when I was playing there and talking about them on the various forums with posters who had been shown the door, and asking why I hadn't been even though I was up around 20k there................In my initial year there, I lost routinely there and was down close to 10,000 there, perhaps that somehow got them off my back............just don't know.

I keep very good records, and fairly certain on my win/loss NET there.......I must be on the cusp of being shown the door.............perhaps I will give them a go sometime in 2010 and see what transpires.

    Should be fun

I like Covers for their stats/matchups and content. Their top 7 is not what my top 7 would be or any other person who knows the industry, but they do have to pay the bills. That's what it boils down to for all sites that accept advertising revenue. In order to remain in business, you sometimes have to compromise standards. It's sad, but it's a reality.

there haven't been a lot of payout problems , but i think that most people who said they got scammed by sia signed up with false personal infromation, because they already got banned on their first account.
    If you don't make a cashout , i think they won't limit/ban you until you have won 10000 +.

Give em some casino action and they'll extend your stay way past that.

I like when the logans oddsmaker comes on and tells everyone where the sharp action was.

Like logans has any sharps playing there

THIS A TREMENDOUS RECOMMENDATION, not only at SIA, but other books as well.

One doesnt have to lose hundreds and hundreds either, just try to get some time in, play small stakes, and keep your losses under $200 or so............and as Matt suggested, this could pay big dividends in staying with a shop..........and who knows, you many actually come out ahead in the casino.

Many sportsbooks have 9/6 Jacks or better which is nearly 100% payback, so that is one area where one can give lots of action for little risk.

Again, good suggestion Matt, your on top of your game this morning.

Just like the Casino's in Vegas. Give them some play in the pits and they won't kick you out for having half a brain if you want to get down some play in the sportsbook..Smart

For what it's worth, SIA is the one I use. I know I should check out more books, but I happened to start with this one so it's the one I still use. From what I've checked out of other sites, the software is quicker at SIA, which I like. And I've always had good service and quick payouts except for one time.

Worst part, as you players know, is that they rape you on the faves.

Anyway, I would LOVE to get shown the door! Most I've ever been up is a couple thousand, and most I've ever withdrawn is 1K.

Yes, I have went there before but didn't stay long, don't trust an organization with those books at the top of there page
