i've often wondered about these types of bets. but, never really got to indepth with them at all.anyone here bet on these and, have you had any success with these types of wagers ?

I love those myhtical matches in soccer.

Last season Hills and Coral did them and their lines were just so wrong it was a punters wet dream. I honestly think they were pricing them as if they were actually playing each other which was ludicrous cause of course bad/losing teams can be high scorers, etc.

Anyway, not suprisingly, they have pulled the plug on them (I was gutted) and I think only Paddy Power do them now and their odds are poor (or, morelike, correct).

So, I would advise you to check them ... there can be value there.

I first saw these when reviewing 10Bet. Last night they had these matchups in the NBA. They call theirs "Mixed Games". This is pretty cool and I think players will be attracted to this like they are for prop bets. It's kind of like betting the team totals that Oly has.

It will be interesting to see if each book makes their own matchups with an indpendant market or if bookmakers all trade on the same matchups.

Pretty much stats with an eye on team news. Also, look at their opponents (are they big conceders, weak defence, etc) as obviously the two scores are independent and are reliant on their opponents rather than each others defence.

Basically, how many do you think team A will score and compare to how many you think team B will score ... if you have a variance then there may be value.

You are essentially betting on team totals like Oly has but instead of capping one team you look at the random pair. 10bet (who has requested a review) pointed out their offers for today. They mixed the leagues as well. NBA & Israeli hoops.
