    Bar I used to hang out in every evening a german guy, in his late 50's probably, would come in every evening for about a month or so. He carried a beer heater with him. Same concept as the beer cooler they put in your pitcher that's filled with ice, but this was a small round metal cylinder with a hook to go over the lip of your glass that he would have the bartender fill with scalding hot water.
    He said he didn't understand how us Americans could ruin good Budweiser by drinking it ice cold.

    I assured him that we weren't like all Americans we were Hillbillies. If he hadn't looked so old I'm sure somebody would have kicked his ass on principle alone!
