Had Drew Brees stayed in San Diego???
Chargers would have gone two at least two Superbowl. Those Chargers team were better than this Saints team, yet Drew without a strong running game lead them to their first Super Bowl.
Chargers fans must be biting their lips right now, because they traded the better QB.
They didn't offer him a contract. That's why he left. It is not his fault the Chargers owner sucks.

Dree Brees is nothing special. Greatness is about consistency he is a one hit wonder on this level, just like Trent Dilfer and Doug Williams. Not only is he a 1 hit wonder at the SB level, but he is not even a QB that consistently takes his teams to the playoffs. The guy has been to the playoffs 3 yrs out of 9 of his career. Don't blow the guy out of proportion. I say again he is nothing special or consistent, they go together.
Brees couldn't win with LT in his prime........wait for both careers are over before calling this one.
Are you guys in special ed class? He tore his labrum and it was AJ Smith, not the owner, who decided to keep Rivers. There was no trade, they let him go.

Brees was outstanding in college, has been outstanding as a pro and now a SB winner, one of a very select group. Likely to win more than 1 before all is said and done too
SD will never win the super bowl regardles of the QB. The problem is Turner - Worst Playoff coach in the NFL. If turner coached this game for the Saints they would have lost.
I don't think either side regrets that trade. Chargers are happy with the young stud. Saints are obviously happy with the super bowl MVP.

Huge charger fan too......i agree but i still think the chargers still can make it with Rivers.... there is early talk in san diego that they are going after Tashard Choice. That would be awesome. Then going for OL and DL in the early rounds of the draft. Just wish they could get a safety cause Weddle blows!!!!!!!!!!
