Default I love women, but women's tennis SUCKS..

Try as I might to watch the women's majors, there is simply nothing compelling to me about it. Maybe it's because we're on the brink of the most anticipated men's match (Federer v. Nadal) in decades. I just can't get into the women's game, no matter how good some of them look..

6 pm for tip-off of Cleveland-SA cannot get here soon enough..

And yes, THIS Federer-Nadal match is more anticipated than the 3 previous times they have met in a major.

French 2005 - Nadal was still and up and comer when he beat Fed in the Semis. Nadal won in 4 sets.

French 2006 - Nadal was a decided fav to win, and won in 4 sets.

Wimbledon 2006 - Nadal's first non-French final (in a major), and I knew he was toast vs. Fed on the natural turf. 4 sets.

French 2007 - If they meet, the intrigue is that Fed recently broke Nadal's clay court streak at 81 or something crazy like that.

Nadal will still be a decided fav, but I have a feeling this one is going 5 sets.

I really only get into the US Open because the time difference doesn't cause for the matches to be shown at weird times. Although I do enjoy Wimbledon.

Womens tennis is more interesting to watch than mens. More rallies and such...

My gf is a womens tennis nut. I always pray for straight set winners. I do enjoy it although I'd never watch it if i had a choice.

Seriously, it should be only one set and they shouldn't allow she-males to compete. Especially the she-males dressed like they are hot babes. That kind of grosses me out.

Maybe on grass, but on clay i really can't agree.

In my opinion men's Tennis has very much improved over the last decade.

Ivanovic spirit and body not on the same page. She looks like she doesn't want to be there.

I didn't have one red cent on that match as I felt Henin was way overpriced but couldn't bring myself to play Ivanovic, but that final was just absolutely miserable to watch. It certainly won't help the game one damn bit...

I watch women's tennis, but don't believe they should get paid the same as men for two reasons: #1) There just isn't much depth in the game, and more importantly #2) The men play up to 67% more tennis. How someone who goes a max of three sets seven times over should make the same as someone who goes up to five sets seven times over is beyond me....

gridironguy may have changed his opinion had he watched Sharapova v Schnyder at the French open.It was an epic encounter and would have been worthy of the final.

Whatever happened to Capriati? She had a nice run for a while.

Nope, still not compelling to me. Sharapova, much like Kournikova, is very nice to look at. Ivanovic is pretty nice looking, but not quite in Maria or Anna's league imo.

I still like the pure power in the men's game more. One handed backhands are cool. Nadal's two-hander is cool to watch. Women just don't generate the power and the net game to keep me interested.

Even if the matches are close, it doesn't matter. I'm sure some WNBA games are classics, but that doesn't make me want to watch them. I'm glad others can appreciate women's sports, but I sure cannot.

Ladies poker? Now there's a sport with some serious lookers. I can definitely watch that..

    Depends on the surface.

On gravel, sure. Men's tennis is the way to go. Perhaps the best surface for epic battles. The women's game doesn't need more slowing down.

But on grass? What is so enjoyable about watching a guy serve the daylight out of the ball, only to see if the opponent gets a racket to it or not?

Hard courts such as Australia? Not sure.
