No you cannot, 98% here have no will power and not strong enough to do it.I have been medicated at times and it did help but I still did bet, GA helps but you go back unless you attend meetings like 4 days per week. A few here might just be experimenting with it and will move on and never make a bet again but again i repeat most here cannot and will not ever stop gambling.

I gotta agree with you jj.. I couldn't stop if i wanted to.. Its became part of who i am now.. Part of my lifestyle.. The time spent capping, then the rush if its a close game, is better than any other high i've ever experianced.. I started young, learned several things the hard way, and have to say that i'm a lifer..

I would never gamble again if I had a reason not to. But I don't so I am taking a 8 month break. I truly beleive all addictions are mental. I can quit cigarettes whenever I choose to. All that shit about you being physically addicted to things I think is BS. I think that it is just weak minded people.

I enjoy this for entertainment mostly. I could stop for sure if I wanted to. I think the percentages here is far less than 98 percent. I say it is around 50 to 60 percent is more like it. I think you are way off.

It is engraved in our lives so much that if most of us stopped it would literally give us withdrawal symptoms and or shakes like a drinker and I do not know if we could fight it off or get a bet in to ease the pain. Gambling is the hardest vice to quit because it is all over the place..

Some people play golf or travel, they have costly hobbies, I choose to fish, and gamble only on football. I dont miss it at all with the other sports.......gambling on football makes the degenerate weekday games relevant.
