If Your Not Playing At Matchbook Your Hurting Other Players
Volume getting very good, the more sign ups the greater the book becomes and more value to the player, it will be better than Pinnacle if everyone signs up and posts up some money.

I joined Matchbook few days ago in part for your good refferences and your change of initial opinion of this sportbook.
I´ve almost triplicate my inicial deposit in live trading that seems to be more easy than Betfair
They respect rules, no commision for two weeks, but it´s true I didn´t ask for a payout yet

I'm planning on not using Matchbook 10 times a day instead of not using them twice a day. I'm hurting players 5 times more without any added effort on my part. I love it.

Today's lesson:
You're: contraction for "you are" as in "you are hurting others"/"you're hurting others"
Your: shows possession as in "is that your bike?"
Also, matchbook kicks ass. The more, the merrier!

Matchbook should be your number one book
Of course you still need Greek, Wagerstreets, WSEX, Betjamaica especially for foots and baskets

How do you go about getting a bookie? It's not like I can walk into a bar and say "Anyone here a bookie?!"

You have to ask the right people to get a bookie. For me I asked some friends I knew that would maybe know of something. One of the guys I asked did know of something and set me up with this guy. I just see so much sportsbook talk in here with payout issues and what not that I wonder why more people aren't going back to bookies.

I'd love to have a bookie. I think using real cash helps a lot in money management and not making crazy wagers. Plus, you bet what you can afford without using credit cards. I went in a big credit card hole one bad streak and barely survived. Had I been using a local bookie, I could have saved myself some stress...

It doesn't always work out that way. It's more common to get in over your head betting on credit than posting up. Maybe you're the exception, but as a rule posting up helps players stay in control.

Honestly, for me, it already is better than pinnacle.
The funny thing about Pinnacle closing is that the act of closing made MB even better than pinnacle 80% of the time, and when it is worse it is no worse than a penny or so (even including commission).
Its a true example of the circle of life with offshores, one died but in this case a new and mostly better alternative was born.
And the jist of what JJ posted is exactly right - the more that play there the better it will be - so the future could be very good.

Read somewhere they're supposed to come out with a new commission structure in the fall. I look forward to that.
I shake my head at all this MB-is-better-than-Pinnacle talk because even for a medium size better MB doesn't have volume at price nor do they have lines jumping around nor do they have the range of offerings.
I don't doubt it's the best long-term hope for low vig, but IMO they've got a ways to go before I could see them as Pinnaclesque.

I'd also point out that due to its exchange structure Matchbook doesn't offer parlays.

No kidding, I have to wait more than 5 days each time to get a check from Matchbook. Then I'll have to wait another 7 biz days for it to clear, because of out of the country checks.
I'll rather pound couple dimes with a local and just wait for next Tuesday to get pay.
This Western Union Shit is getting too much problems.
Can't get pay more than a dime at any supermarket or any other agents beside Cashing Checks joint. Then I'll have to wait in line for an hour with the rest of the illegal immigrants.
And then I'll have to sweat it to get out of the joint alive.

I consistently get 15-20K matched at prices better than pinnacle on MLB (including commission). I could get more. The amount you see offered is small (5-7K) but once you take that there is plenty more offered, in other words its not all gone when you take it.
As far as the range of offerings, if you bet parlays, teasers, props, smaller sports etc - there is no doubt that pinnacle is better.
But for sides and totals, MB is indeed better than pinnacle 80% of the time. And for as much as you want (potentially higher limits than pinny at lower prices).

vanzack perhaps you could suggest a demo feature with the Matchbook executives since you have considerable sway there.
Research shows that individuals have stronger attitudes when they have direct experience with the attitude object.....

We recommend that new clients learn by betting one or two dollars at a time. In most cases, it's no more difficult than placing a bet at a sportsbook.

You know I would suspect that if you sent them 2 dimes, they'd probably let you transfer half that immediately.
But you should certainly check with 5 Dimes CS before depositing for a definitive answer.
