Bank holiday in the U.K was last Monday.

First Monday in May was also a bank holiday.

It's not all bad, living in the U.K.

The exchange rate is good for everyone who doesn't use dollars, which is about 99.9% of the UK. I only have one account left in that pathetic currency myself ;o)

the problem is most sportsbooks only take dollar. i have to convert my currency to dollars for some sportsbooks...transfer money between those account are expensive...considering the fee they charge in exchange rates

Those that only take dollars will be losing out.

Yea offshore books have that problem, I'm down to an exchange and a book offshore now in US$ actually, Pinnacle and Mansion both take GBP, as do several other offshores, and Aussie books use the Australian dollar which is not as volatile.
