Good list. With all due respect, I think the top 5 is better than the official SBR top 5.
Good to see that WSEX beat out Bookmaker. My only question is why BJ ended up higher than the Greek. That seems strange.
Top 5 books that received most second place votes:
1) Matchbook
2) The Greek
3) 5Dimes
4) Betjamaica
5) WSEX
Huh! That looks even better.

We have quite a few non-Americans here on SBR Forum; and we make every effort to provide information to an international audience ... not just US-based players.

BTW, the link to the Matchbook review doesn't show a review, as with the other top books. Looking forward to that one...

I think the more competitive pricing for bases put Betjm over The Greek. And since this poll was done over the beginning of baseball season it may have biased the results in that direction. Although the Greek has higher limits and a few other things...they are both excellent books.

Any time you have self-selection for a poll, the results should be taken with a grain of salt and interpretted cautiously. The size of the poll matters little compared to how the sample was obtained. A more representative sample of online gamblers would likely produce much different results.

Yeh this poll meant nothing
If there were 200 jjgold's voting you then you have a credible and accurate result

I actually think that's a pretty damn good result. Of course there are always going to be representatives of sites (such as the guy at the top with 30 posts that are all about D- SBG) who vote for their own shilling interests, but all in all I can't argue one bit with the top ten...

I"m suprised Wagerstreet finished so low... Their lines are sweet and they seem stable... As far as SBG Global I am going to give them a try but 5Dimes did get my attention with that payout being that fast...

Shams,
Have you noticed a change in bases prices? Mgt. sent us a new dimeline chart and they will probably be added to the MLB Sportsbook list on Monday. It's good to see different Greek properties get individual attention.

Yes I have and their lines are like pinnacle's in the sense that when something is -117 the other side is +107... They also have -105 on all basketball including halfs and totals for halfs... Their limits are low ...very low but lines and stability are good and one of my top books without pinny....

They are considering 105 for foots too I believe. I'll check the price plan when I get in.

I didn't vote but I would put bodog #1, I make lots of money there and they pay me. Sure other books may have better websites and service but making money is the prime objective and they are #1

It's a good poll. Still, a rough grading of post counts might better reflect 'SBR posters'; those with 500 or more posts on average should have a better understanding of sports books than posters with 5 contributions. Just something to consider if this poll should gain public recognition in the future, which could easily inspire books to send in the troops.

Wagerstreet is the best of the Greek's properties right now with their juice. They and Matchbook are my favorites for baseball season.

Who did the math?
I've checked few books for obvious reasons.
According to my calculations:
Intertops - 11
Royal - 2

With all respect. I don't trust any offshore Sportsbook (top to bottom or bottom to top) for the only reason that at any given day these guys can walk away with our money.
Don't fool yourself, these guys are not out to make our lives better.
Trust me.

SBG Global is a god damn joke. I also wonder why SBG Global is "D-" rating at SBR ratings?

Notice that, in the first post of the voting thread, we state that only votes from members with 100 posts or more will be used in the final tally.

How about polling members on ALL the books they currently use, preferably in order of preference?
There's not a ton of disagreement about the top 5 or so, but it would be interesting to see what outs other people trust as their second (or third) tier.
