Default What's the right move from the gambling perspective in this situation...

Pretty sure I have my answer, but I was talking to a friend tonight, and this got brought up about what I was going to do...

Keep in mind, I haven't laid out my straight plays for tomorrow yet, waiting to see late movement tomorrow...but figured it was a good question for the board...

    I have...

    2-Team 6-Point Teaser (-110) for 5 Units
    Saints (-1) (WIN)
    Chargers (-1)

    3-Team 6-Point Teaser (+180) risking 5 Units
    Colts (pk) (WIN)
    Saints (-1) (WIN)
    Chargers (-1)

    What would you do...
    1. Stay put. If you liked SD @ -1 in the first place, why would you hedge now?
    2. Hope for a close game and try to middle it with the Jets (+7 @ +105 or +7.5 @ -115).
    3. Guarantee myself profit and take the Jets ML (+300) for 5 Units.

there is only one right answer. that is only for you to make. depends upon your risk tolerance, bankroll, recent winnings or losings, how much of gambling is recreation or profit is needed in your daily expenditures and a million other variables. YOU need to answer this one on your own.

If you could pick up Jets over +300 you can do it as that should represent +EV considering the odds is +300 -305 on Matchbook. (BTW taking this ML does mean your exposing yourself to a lost in the event that chargers win by 1)
Or take Jets for +7 +106 as that would represent +EV according to matchbook odds again.

Or if you don't do anything that would be consider a break-even move. I personally would take Jets +106

makes no sense, i would just let it ride or take jets plus the points

Sometimes I would take that teaser even though I like Jets with the points so I can set up a middle. If you didn't have this in mind when making the bet you can't justify this move unless you have a significant reason for the reassessment.

If you like SD stick with them.

If you have bankroll concerns you might want to consider placing a break even amount on the Jets ML so you basically have SD as a freeroll.
