Ok is it me or did Rice get totally screwed with there regional.. Getting another top 16 team to play against in the regional is totally not fair for that high of a ranked team..

Any comments??

I couldn't believe Florida State went all the way down to a #6 overall seed (after being the #1 team in the country virtually the entire year) just on account of losing their conference tourney (and the ACC is a pretty tough conference). Vandy was a no-brainer #1 overall, but FSU dipping to a #6 seed was one of the bigger shocks to me. I also was surprised to see Alabama not even make the regionals.

I think the selection committee put entirely too much emphasis on just a couple of games in conference tournaments at the expense of an entire season's work this year.
