Default Jose Canseco punks out Mark McGwire

"There's no crying in baseball." I laughed my ass off when he looked into the camera and said that.
One of the all time classic lines. I laugh at these guys copping out saying they took them for injuries. Roger Clemens is throwing 98 mph in his 40s. Warning track guys are now 50 homerun guys.
LOL, yeah that's why they use them in football, the Olympics, etc, etc.

It's funny that Jose is the only one who has been truthful in this whole thing.

Canseco has done good for the fans because he knows he will never make the hall and doesnt care. The funny thing is when Tommy Lasorda said Canseco was on roids when he hit that homer in game 1 of the 88 series of the camera no one really payed attention. I was a big fan of Jose though. Lived the great life.

The Bash Brothers used to knock the cover off the ball.

Baseball is a joke now. They took steroids. So what? The Best player in the sport is not even in their hall of fame, and all he did was place a few bets....

Canseco is always truthful about this stuff. All the others are carefully measuring their words, and sticking to a rehearsed presentation. They're all afraid. Except Canseco. He's the only one of that bunch with guts.

Baseball is getting what it deserves. McGuire's "excuse" for taking 'roids is rediculous. Baseball is long and boring to begin with, and now, all of it's most cherished records have been tarnished. Canseco told it the way it was, and now is being vindicated.

Baseball historians are a bunch of pussies. No other sport talks about the "old" days like things were so much better. The past sucked, get over it. Steroids sell tickets and the owners just want money. Players have always been the same.

I think steroids have done good things for baseball. If you don't think steroids have done good things for baseball, just watch the highlights of McGwire hitting all those long balls. The fans are going absolutely bonkers. If I'm not mistaken, professional baseball is supposed to be a source of entertainment. It's looks like the fans were more than entertained with what they were witnessing (Sosa/McGwire slugfest). I loved watching Barry Bonds crush 73 HR's, it was amazing. Was it b/c he was juiced up? Maybe he was. Should I care that much? No.

I'm really sick of all the steroid talk. but by the time it dies down. they maybe they will have found a way to test for HGH and we'll have to deal with all the top players from 2005-2015 that were dirty for HGH. Canseco does not seem like a guy to trust, but it amazing that he was correct about how much steroid use there was

Canseco has taken it way to far IMO. I sure wouldn't want anyone in my family to be him.

Personally, I think baseball would be a lot better if they required players to take drugs. Juicing is obvious, but before every game they should be given PCP as well. Base stealers should be awarded with a line of coke if they make it to first, and fat corner outfielders and DHs get their own personal kegs. Give the umps adderall and riddlin to sharpen their concentration. There should also be naked chicks involved somehow...

I like the ending of that vid. I wish Canseco would elaborate what made him suffer so much.

In many aspects of life the bar is raised by the pricks. When one prick is willing to do something that a noble man wouldn't do, others have to follow or be faced with a huge disadvantage.
And so it seems as the bar gets pushed higher and higher those with morals can't succeed and so we're left with a bunch of pricks and assholes.

i think anyone that has been caught doing steroids should automatically be banned from baseball and anything to do with baseball so i think its a joke that McGwire is now the hitting coach for the cardinals because if you think about it the guy doesnt know crap about hitting all he did was take steroids and let that do all the work for him. i just dont think its fair to the players who are actually straight forward and earn the reputation by just playing the game of baseball without any added supplements, although who am i kidding the whole mlb is probably run by steroids now.
