Favorites are still killing everyone, this needs to turn around, and fast. Its sick how much favorites are covering these last few weeks.

Books are too worried about the big money underdog bettors. Because of this, the opening numbers have been weak and there has been a ton of value with the chalk. This season more than any other, there have been many lines that have come out that I look at and shake my head before laughing all the way to the bank. I'm usually 60/40 in terms of favorites to underdogs. This year, its been closer to 80/20 and its worked really well so far. I'm 12-4 so far this week with Jacksonville and Green Bay still playing and both covering as we speak. I even played The Pack on the moneyline @ +225. Sorry, its been a bad week for you, Brick.

I don't care if it's dog or favs. Just as the line looks good and it cash in for me.

KC -4 cashed in big for me today.
I can't see why anyone got to wager on dogs or no plays?

Its not that way at all. If I find the value in betting a favorite, I will. But I wont lay to many points. I dont like laying anything over 2.5 in foots. Its mostly dogs and small favorites for me. I do very well with this and even though with the way the last few weeks have been going, Ive been doing pretty well.

Its mostly hoops and pucks for me. With a football wager here and there.

You'll like the lines for next week's NFL games, Brick. A bunch of numbers that are 3 or less. I'd get some of the lines to 4 or 4.5 to discourage action on the chalk because the lines look like its going to be a pick the winner week in the NFL.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that the Steelers cover for you tomorrow night too.

November has been pretty bad for me. Last November was bad too.

Favorites winning this much cannot be good for most bookmakers. I am not saying that you shouldn't be favorites, but historically linesmaker inflate the prices on favorites, so they weren't the best place to look for value.

Couple sharps I know have been playing some favorites for two years with success. I still tend to pick and follow plays that are chosen from dogs. My loss I guess, but I stilll don't see much value in favorites even with their current streak.
