Default Anyone remember this bad beat of a game.

It's funny how bettors only remember the unlucky bad beats when losing a sure winning bet and not the times when they lucked out beyond belief to win a bet. It's sort of like thinking the refs make all the bad calls against your bets and never against the opposition.

Does anyone remember that division playoff game a few years back when the bases were loaded?and a home run was hit and they only scored it as one run because all the players ran out on the field after the 1st run which was the winning run crossed home plate. The umps just left the field.I needed those runs for an over and lost the bet.

Does anyone have any bad beat stories where something so bizarre happened.Another that comes to mind is the Leon Lett punt touching play and the Joe Piszarchek?''spelling'' play at the end of the game when the clock was running out where all he had to do was fall on the ball to win but he made a hand off and fumbled letting the opposition score.

One that gets to me today is how these players wave the ball up in the air 15 yards before they hit the end zone showing off, slowing down etc.where they can either fumble or have someone catch up to them. Can you imagine Lombardi putting up with that hip hop crap!He would have had a friggin blood vessel break and die of a stroke right on the sidelines.

You don't mind losing a bet because a guy just wasn't fast enough to make a play but those stupid mental errors just make you think it's not worth trusting any team enough to put a bet on them.

Not in the same league as your bases loaded grand salami, good for 1 run , but that Ga game was kind of a bad beat. I mean Ga driving with 2 min to go, 99% of the time you would burn the clock and kick the game winning FG right? Wrong. TD Pass - tear up all Ga Tech +6 tickets....fvckers!

Reminds me of Cleveland scoring 11 in the 9th, helped with 3 errors, to come back from a 7-2 deficit in KC, last august.

My bad beat was John Vanbiesbrouck, then Florida Panthers goalie, shooting the puck along the boards with 3 seconds left, no pressure, right on the attacker stick who shot it back into the empty net... for a 6 games parlay loss.

I was about to post about those OT games today. I had both & particularly the Rams/Texans game was unbelieveable. TD by the Rams with :30 secs left followed by a recovered onside kick leading to the tying FG. AND to top it all off a TD in OT to get the cover. Pass me the Rolaids.

Which reminds me of 3 more bad beats I've been on the wrong side of:

The MNF last year where Manning went crazy in the 4th to get the win/cover. I can't remember which team that was against TB or Miami but that one really sucked.

The Music City Miracle where Tenn returns a kickoff for a TD on the last play of the game to get the win/cover.

& For kicks me and my buddies bet a English soccer match. I can't even remember the team's name but they were getting like +1000 on the ML and decided to bet a bill. Anyway they were leading going into the final minutes of the game and the fans were so excited about the upset they started going buck wild and storming the field before the official end of the game. They couldn't clear the field to finish the game and the books voided our bets. LOL!!!!!

How about the people who have the Giants moneyline, Feely has missed 3 kicks in a row that could have won the game.

    I had the Giants moneyline.

I keep thanking myself for using a "micro" bankroll in my first season of sports betting. Otherwise I'd be hanging from the rafters after some of these games.
