10 players v WagerWeb dispute update
People want to know why disputes take so long. Neither side is giving me the information I want. In particular:
The players still need to give me contact information for 8 the accounts (plus 2 that were already given); and
Wagerweb still needs to give me the wagering logs of all the accounts (they already gave me all the written communications between the parties).

I'll have my assistant, Tacomax, send this to you by the end of the day. He's an efficient young man and he likes working on these kinds of projects plus he's a respected poster.

I am glad to hear this is being taken so seriously by SBR. Wagerweb has a decent rating and I am sure most of us are looking for who is screwing who here.

These 10 players OBVIOUSLY cannot give you the contact info, because all 10 are THE SAME PERSON.
so this guy is obviously now petitioning friends for ID and such to help him out of a jam otherwise he will be exposed for the crok ( or 10 crooks ) that he is in trying to rip off wager web.

Thanks for taking over the hot seat while I was away (on important business).
Of course Wagerweb shouldn't be dragging their heels although I'd understand that they would want to get their side of things 100% straight. But what on earth can the excuse be for the players not providing their information (aside from the obvious)?

I think the obvious will suffice.
It is a negative practice for the book to confiscate deposits, though. Although I have no remorse for Luke and his situation, I feel WagerWeb has lost credibility with this decision. They certainly would not be at the top of my list of books to receive my action even though I'm sure there wouldn't be any issues similar to this.

You have some proof of what you're saying or just wasting space in this thread? Dave Johnson and WagerWeb has been around a long time and I've never heard any complaints about anyone not recieving their money....Plus,the last time I checked a B- rating @ SBR is pretty damn good

Justin,
I did not know that you needed information from me. I thought Wager Web would have provided that. For the record, I just emailed you my contact info.

I am going to post an email that was sent by Dave Johnson, that I do not appreciate. Wager Web has already stolen $81,843, and now it is time for them to pay ME.
Please forward at your earliest convenience the contact information for each of the 13 account holders.
The same information being provided to SBR would be appreciated so I can forward this to our legal department.
Full name, mailing address, phone number etc as well as current place of work.
Our lawyers have documents prepared and they need to be sent to each person individually.
There is an issue of monies which were paid out fraudently in excess of 400k over the past 6 years which we will be addressing.
I appreciate your attention to this matter so we can move forward.
Regards
Dave Johnson

bpin,
2 players have posted at SBR. There were 10 accounts affected by Wagerweb's investigation, and I asked that these players give me the contact information. 4 days and counting, and I'm still waiting for contact information on most of those players.
Please don't judge either side until my investigation is complete.

I'm not sure if you have my info yet Justin, but I just emailed it to you.
Any help you can give me to get my $50,843 back is much appreciated. As far as I'm aware of there are nine accounts effected, not ten.

You shouldn't know that info, so if this email is legit, they (Dave) are trying to trap you and make you look the fool, I get your drift !

Is your position against any book involved in some financial dispute always the same, as if every case were the same, or does it just seem that way?
Will be interesting to see how many identities can be proven in this one.

First you posted it as a statement, and now it's a question instead?
Anyway, the question is too stupid to make me waste my time answering it. Good luck.

To me I think it's obvious that these "guys" are just Spectacular Bettors and WagerWeb is desperately looking for a way to get out of paying them their "fair" winnings.
Personally, I'd love to see the entire matter go before a court of law. The parties involved would have to reveal at least a modicum of truth and then I suspect the whole situation would make for great comedy.

Tate, did you refer any of the accounts in the list, or was refered by one of the accounts? It seems to me that, although it is beneficial and encouraged by sportsbooks, refering friends is risky, because if you and friends have similar wagering style, happen to wage on same games, or opposite sides of same game etc., you can be in trouble of "bonus abuse".

Most of the fact gathering is done at this point and is being discussed with both parties. It shouldn't be long before we have some conclusions.
